Marketing Manager, Kilimanjaro Live Ltd

Karma has over six years’ experience in the music industry, specialising in international sales, marketing and media. She currently works at promoter Kilimanjaro Live as Marketing Manager.

Karma received a formal education of the industry when she undertook a degree in Music Business at university. She has experience in the physical and digital retail market, from working in management at multiple HMV stores and promoting HMVdigital. She worked with various artists from Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris to Kelis while she worked for an international business management company.

In 2012, Karma joined publisher NewBay Media to work on leading industry title Music Week. For the next three years she worked on the title, its events such as the prestigious Music Week Awards and ran its daily new artist column. During this time she was asked to work on sister titles Audio Media International (an international pro-audio magazine) and MI Pro (UK's leading trade musical instrument magazine). She has dealt with and has relationships with a large number of labels, artists, managers and PR's. Following this, Karma joined the Marketing, PR and Events team at PPL, project managing marketing and PR activity along with organising events such as the AGM and APM. 

Karma is an advocate for Women in Music and is an Ambassador for anti-piracy company AudioLock
