The Unconference is a day of panels, workshops, presentations and networking for those working in, or aspiring to work in the music industry, as part of Live At Leeds and Leeds International Festival. If you are involved in music at any level and hope to gain a better understanding of the music industries – as an artist, producer, manager, promoter, enthusiast or otherwise, you can attend the event to find out more from leading experts and professionals.

This years’ Unconference will feature artist & industry keynote speakers, networking sessions and panel discussions including:

*PRS Foundation on music funding and development with artists who have benefited from their Momentum fund

*Music Managers Forum on the future of music management, how the landscape has changed, what skills are required, the barriers to entry and how you build your networks

*Brighter Sound will bring guests involved in their Both Sides Now program whose aim is to support, inspire and showcase women in music and promote gender equality across the North of England.

The Unconference takes place from 10am - 6pm on Friday 4th May at The Wardrobe and Leeds College of Music and is free to attend, but you need to register for a ticket here. A full schedule and details of all our speakers will be on our website shortly, where you can also see details and videos of previous events.
